well last night my house was going to have a christmas party, affectionately titled "chear 09" (Come Hither Everyone And Revel!) we decorated the house festively
made baked goods
even assembled goods for chocolate fountain
little did we realize that the biggest snow storm to hit virginia in who knows how many years was about to begin. with several hours until Chear o'clock, the snow began
by Chear time it was definitely not safe to travel (although we did have one guest in an awesome santa outfit! but he is not pictured)
needless to say we still fancied it up for our house (Karen had made delicious sangria there in the punch bowl).
but we did decide to reschedule for monday night. hopefully the roads will be clear by then! but with it still snowing now who knows!

oh no! bummer about the snow... but your house looks fantastic and i'm sure everyone will come hither on monday :)
That's seriously a bummer, but I'm hoping your party goes awesome on Monday!!
that sounds like such a great party! i bet it will be even better after all the anticipation!
