interesting things

two out of the ordinary things happened to me today, one excellent, one not so much.

1- i saw this

sitting on a shopper's shoulder in the parking lot at lowe's. i think she was a pirate in disguise (although not a very good one)

2-a gnat flew into my nose and didn't come out :(

where the wild things are

sometimes i think i live in some sort of wildlife refuge...

-a bear has been seen in redfields
-today while running around the pond i saw a turtle, baby geese, and 18 inch fish
-a wild bunny frequents our bird feeder area

-and i think something ate a bird

the other day i fell on the treadmill.

well... i didn't completely fall- i stepped with my left leg onto the part that doesn't move (i guess i had strayed to the left) and then my right leg went back. i caught myself before i totally wiped out but my right leg dragged on the treadmill in the process, creating a burn and some bruising. pretty much... i'm stupid. i've never used that little clip thing that turns off the treadmill...but now i do. i guess i learned my lesson!
