so after i posted about my phone dieing i talked to kt and she suggested putting it in rice for 24 hours to suck out all the moisture. as soon as i got off the phone with her my friends visiting from nashville walked in and said the same thing. i took this fantastic advice as a sign and did it. after a few hours i took out my phone....it was still buzzing some, not consistently, more like a bee going to sleep... but i had been impatient- back into the rice it went. the next day i took out my phone, put the battery in, and it worked! it's been perfect since then! although i was a bit sad not to be getting a new phone quite yet, it's always nice when your electronics live to see another day.and also for future reference- putting your wet phone in rice DOES really work.

what a great trick! so glad it worked! i wish i had known this when my phone got wet in belize.
