learning a new lanuage

so today i had the first of a four part series on being a "medication aid" meaning i can administer medications. i think liz will appreciate this, but i never realized that doctor's have a whole other language! for example- "po q hs prn sleep" means... "by mouth at bed time as needed for sleep" anyways, i was baffled! but as i'm learning what the symbols mean i'm realizing how much faster it must be than writing it all out. it sure is confusing to learn though!

he made it up. This is a good skill to have though! I bet these classes are more interesting than your binder reading!

No you just don't have a very extensive abbreviation list yet. You'll get there with some experience one day.
