so last night i sat down with my folks and some friends to watch the highly anticipated 'office' return and about midway through the sound totally cut out! and then after a few minutes the sound came back on....but it was the sound to a different program! so we were watching the show and trying to figure out what was going on, but we could only hear some other show. it was pretty disappointing! anyways, i guess i'll have to watch it online today to figure out what actually happened.

wow, did that happen on nbc in your area, or was it a recorded show? the office up here was fine!
bummer! but if you made it halfway through the episode you at least got to see/hear dwight's "rules" song, right? possibly my new favorite office moment!!
i hope you got to watch it! this was probably my fav episode of the season.
