so my parents have decided to put oakleigh (where their offices are and where the forge took place) on the market, and so today i spent some time helping them clean out some stuff. my favorite part was going through the cabinets, where i found various bars, cherry pies, and other food way out of date. the picture has expiration dates from 2007 and 2008, but i found some chicken broth from 2005. mmm
and this picture here is of food i'm pretty sure is not fit for human consumption.
i also found 9 jars of peanut butter that expire feb 11. i guess it's time to start looking up recipes including peanut butter!

that's really impressive! some good finds for sure. Bummer that Oakleigh is not sticking around for a long time though! Will they still do the forge without the building?
wow, nice finds. where will your parents' office be now?
they're still planning on doing the forge, but they'll just rent a place for the month, and also they're aiming to start doing it overseas. and they'll probably get some office space downtown somewhere
i am going to be honest at first i was confused as to why you did not include any pictures of zebra cakes but then it dawned on me that a) they would not fit the topic of expiration and b)i believe that we consumed and or smashed every last crumb of them
