christmas surprises

so tonight matt and i went to a christmas party. it was a lot of fun, but the most memorable moment happened as we were leaving. we went to get in matt's car, and as matt got in he saw something large and furry moving in the back seat. he was startled and because i saw him startle (which i have never seen in my whole life) i was scared. then he says, 'jennie, open the back door and let that cat out." turns out a large grey cat had climbed in the small open (cause its broken) window in the back while we were inside. later he said one time he got in his car and a bird was trapped inside. we were just glad we found the cat right away and not miles down the road. and i was glad he found it and not me, cause im pretty sure my heart would have never recovered.
