3 days and counting

last night was my last night of work (well until after i get back) and i can't believe we leave in 3 days! but then this morning my mom and i went back to bb&b because this week i g0t a higher employee discount than i usually do (they call it 'employee appreciation week' or something like that) and so we went to get some travel pillows for our trip. anyways, while i was there i decided to buy
1- this plate. it has been in the clearance section ever since i started working and i've always liked it and have often said to myself 'if this plate is still here tomorrow i'll buy it' but just never have. plus i think part of me felt bad no one ever bought it (kayla you'd be proud). so today i finally did! and now for only 2 dollars i now have a new plate to eat all my meals on (although don't be deceived by the picture, it's small-ish, like a salad plate)

2- a new pillow. i've been learning some about pillows (among other things)- stuff like how you should have a different pillow for if you sleep on your side vs. stomach/back. and naturally i had the wrong kind. since i usu dont sleep so well i decided to go ahead and get a good pillow and see if that helps. anyways, im excited about it
