On the Charlottesville downtown mall there is the "freedom of speech wall": a chalk wall where people can write whatever they want. Usually it is just filled with lame sayings and people's names, but sometimes you find some incredible artwork. Today was one of those days.

wow, this is amazing! do they do this under the cover of nightfall, or have you seen people working on masterpieces like this during the day???
i've never actually seen them doing it, so i'm not sure. but i have seen people hosing the wall clean from time to time, so i'm guessing they pounce on it whenever that happens
